Each pad features an absorbent cotton core and low-adherent outer layer and can be activated simply by adding water. Ideal for supporting horses with abscesses, bruising, tender hooves and general hoof discomfort. Each package contains 3 pre-cut pads.

SEALTEX® Hoof Poultice Pads provide a simple, clean and convenient solution for managing equine hoof issues when your horse needs targeted hoof care.

Each 5.5" x 5.5" pad is pre-cut to fit the hoof and designed to activate with water, eliminating the mess and hassle of mixing and applying traditional poultice. The multi-layer absorbent cotton core and low-adherent outer layer help maintain a clean, controlled environment while supporting the horse's natural recovery process.

Active Ingredients Per Pad:
-Tragacanth Gum 1.12g
-Boric Acid 0.39g
-Pad Weight 11.5g

Directions for Use:
- Clean the hoof thoroughly, removing all dirt, debris and loose material.
- Ensure the hoof is dry before applying unless using a wet application.
- Position the pad so the absorbent side is against the hoof and the waterproof backing faces outward.
- Secure appropriately to keep the pad positioned against the hoof.

Hot Application
For Drawing Support
- Soak the pad in warm water that is comfortable to the touch—not hot.
- Gently press out excess water. The pad should be damp but not dripping.
- Place the pad against the sole of the hoof with the absorbent side toward the hoof.
- Ensure the waterproof backing faces outward before securing the dressing.

Cold Application
For Cooling Support
- Saturate the pad using clean, cold water.
- Lightly remove excess moisture.
- Apply to the hoof with the absorbent side against the hoof and the backing facing outward.

Dry Application
For Protective Dressing
- Apply the SEALTEX® Hoof Poultice Pad dry as a protective dressing and secure appropriately.
